Bledsoe County Community Food Bank

Bledsoe Cunty Community Food Bank is open for food distrabution on Thursdays from 2-5 PM. When you drive up to the Food Bank just stay to the inside of the cones. Remain in your car and they will get your information from the passenger side of the car. Make sure you have room in your car for the boxes of food and wearing masks would be appreciated.

They now have 3 distribution sites: Pikeville, Samson Free Will Baptist church and Luminary Mobile Pantry.

When picking up food please have your picture ID ready to show.

Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency

NWTHRA provides public transportation services to residents of all ages in all nine Northwest Tennessee counties. Their services may be used for medical trips, shopping trips, airports, and educational facilities.

Services are provided Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. till 6 p.m. Limited services are provided on Saturdays. Their offices are closed on all major Federal and State holidays. We recommend that all reservations be made at least five days in advance to ensure seating availability.

Northwest TN Economic Developing Concil LIHEAP Program

The LIHEAP Program is designed to assist eligible households with very low income, who pay a high portion of household income for home energy to meet their immediate home energy need. Assistance is provided beginning October 1st through September 30th year round or until funds are exhausted. This applies to Regular Energy Assistance as well as Emergency Crisis Assistance.

Seeds of Hope Food Bank

Appointments are required and can be scheduled by phone Tuesday-Thursday between 8:00am-4:00pm. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

In order to qualify for the food provided to us through USDA, you must present one (1) of following every month when you check in at the Food Bank:
a. SNAP/EBT (Food Stamps) Benefit Card
b. SSI or Disability Letter of Determination
c. LIHEAP Letter of Determination
d. Verbal declaration of total household income

*You may only receive USDA foods once per month from any agency across the state of TN.
