Knoxville Salvation Army Women’s Shelter

The Joy D. Baker Center serves women with or without children affected by domestic violence and also serves as a shelter for homeless women with children. Safety is a top priority in their monitored, secure facility. In addition to providing housing and meals, their 24-hour staff serve as counselors and liaisons with both the court and the school systems and can assist with job placement or referrals to other agencies.

Lewis Health Center

Lewis Health Center provides Lewis County and the surrounding area with outpatient health care and wellness services, including primary care for adults and children, imaging, laboratory and physical therapy. Physicians and nurse practitioners with Maury Regional Medical Group provide primary care at Lewis Health Center, complemented by well-trained clinical and support staff.
