Discipleship House

The Discipleship House holds up to six female residents. Most women are in a private bedroom. The program typically lasts 6 to 8 months, but extensions up to one year may be granted. While in residence, women will be included in regular recovery classes, 12 step meetings, Recovery focused church services, devotions and Bible studies and education on a wide variety of life skills topics, including anger management, healthy boundaries, money management and parenting.

The cost per resident is $150 per week and includes housing, bedding, toiletries, meals, transportation and Recovery programming. Free gym membership is provided and regular transportation to the gym is available.

All residents are expected to work at least 30 hours a week while in the program and are given assistance in locating employment in Recovery friendly work environments. Women are also expected to participate in the life of the community, including some volunteer work.

Dismas House Nashville

Dismas House of Nashville has two core programs – their main Reentry Program and an Independent Living Program.

Founded in 1974, Dismas House moved from an eight-bed home to a new 72-bed campus in April 2020. The new facility has 56 reentry program beds and 16 independent living units on the fourth floor. Along with this physical expansion and an exponential increase in the numbers of men served came an intentional re-envisioning, redesign, and diversification of our program offerings with an emphasis on supporting the whole person.

They offer residents a wide array of services that are offered by Dismas House staff or through their many partnerships and collaborations with outside service and program providers.
