The Anderson County Health Department provides confidential services to all residents regardless of age, sex, income, race, disability, or marital status. Fees are based on income and family size, but no one will be denied services because of inability to pay. All TennCare plans are accepted for most services, and payment plan schedules are available for women who are not TennCare eligible. A sliding fee schedule is available based on income for their services.

Church Health Center Clinic provides faith-based primary medical care (including exams, x-rays and laboratory tests) on an appointment basis for people who are employed or self-employed but uninsured; cost is sliding scale. Services include dental, vision, mental health counseling, physical therapy and some medication, but not obstetrics or family planning. Also they provide a walk-in clinic for people who are uninsured and need immediate care. Mandatory “Getting Started” orientations for all new appointment patients held Monday through Wednesday, 11:45 am – 1:00 pm and Thursday 6:15-7:30 pm.
