Lighthouse Mission (Safe Harbor)

Lighthouse mission (Safe Harbor) of Memphis is a program which includes emergency shelter and transitional housing for single men, substance abuse therapy, employment preparation, job training, life skills development and a back to work program. They also provide court-related services for justice impacted individuals enrolled in the program.

The program is faith-based and church services are available to those who wish to attend.

Client participation lasts for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year.

The Day Center Program provides food, transportation, day shelter, shower and laundry facilities, case management, life skills and educational classes, computers to develop resumes and apply online for jobs and housing, indoor and outdoor play areas for children, and a nap room, among other programs.

Dyer County Transitions

Transitions of Dyer County is a Ministry of Jesus Christ that Nurtures and Disciples Women who desire a new beginning. The Transitions program provides Residential Shelter for women who are recovering from Alcohol and Drug Addictions or various other life controlling issues. At Transitions the women will receive Christ Centered Teachings, Life Skills, MRT, Highly Structured Living and Discipline, Mentoring, Therapy, Addictive Behavior Modification, Employment in the 4th level.

Admission is by application and interview as well as a front-end commitment to a nine-month program with three months after care.
