Begin Anew Resources of Middle Tennessee

Begin Anew serves the Middle Tennessee area through three locations in Davidson County (Nashville, Madison, and Woodbine) as well as one location in Williamson County (Franklin). The program provides three curriculum tracks for students: High School Equivalency test preparation, English Language Learning, and Computer and Job Skills. Enrollment in their services is open to persons of all faiths and cultures.

Williamson County Public Library Career Center

The Career Center on the second floor features information about job fairs, employment opportunities, and local resources.

The following Services are available:
*There is a computer with a scanner for scanning resumes and documents to upload to online applications and emails.
*A special book collection contains books on career planning including topics such as specific careers, career success, resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and job searching.
*Find career help by scheduling a 30-minute online appointment with a member of the Reference Department staff. Call 615-595-1243, ext. 1, or stop by the Reference desk to schedule your session. All appointments are between 10 and 12 or 2-6.
*Computer Literacy Workshop Sessions including: How to modify your traditional resume into PDF or scanned format, Review Microsoft Office programs, Setting up an email account
*Library online computer classes are offered monthly. They cover basic, library-resource instruction for beginning and intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs.

One-On-One sessions are limited to Williamson County residents. A Library card is required for sessions on Library computers.
