Biography

Shon Holman-Wheatley, Ed.S., is the Director of Transitional Programs at the Tennessee Higher Education Initiative (THEI). In this role, he leads and supports a team of reentry professionals who provide individualized transitional services to THEI's HEP students. The goal is to help these students achieve social, economic, and spiritual well-being post-incarceration.

Shon graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Human Development and Learning, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, and an Education Specialist degree Ed.S in Counselor Leadership. His research throughout his academic career has focused on Non-traditional Student Success with an emphasis on African American Males.
